How Private Lessons Work
- Location: In-studio or at your home (mobile lessons available)
- Frequency: Once per week (custom schedules available)
- Duration: 60 minutes per lesson
- Gear: Provided or your own setup
- Instructor: Same person every lesson.
Payment due prior to the first lesson. Packages paid up front, include scheduling flexibility and priority booking.

The SpinRight After-School DJ Program is a hands-on music education experience designed specifically for middle school students in Orange County. Built by award-winning DJ and instructor Mixmaster Jash, this program introduces students to modern music creation through DJing, digital audio technology, and beat-making — all in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.
Unlike traditional music lessons, DJing empowers students to explore rhythm, timing, creativity, motor skills, and digital literacy using equipment they’re excited to learn on. It’s music education, reimagined for today’s generation.
How The Program Works
- 8-Week Program (1 session per week)
- 4–8 students per group
- All DJ gear provided
- Hosted on your school campus
- Perfect for middle school enrichment, after-school programs, and youth community centers
Schools can run the program during:
- After-school hours
- Elective periods
- STEAM enrichment days
- Music or digital media blocks

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your sound, we’ll guide you step-by-step through beat making, melody writing, sampling, and arrangement techniques used by today’s top producers. Learn how to record, mix, and perform your own tracks using the same software trusted by professional DJs and electronic artists worldwide.
Students will explore:
- Building beats, bass lines, and melodies in Ableton Live
- Using effects, automation, and MIDI controllers for dynamic performance
- Sound design and track arrangement for club-ready results
- Exporting, mixing, and mastering fundamentals
SCRATCH CLASS
4 SESSIONS | 60 MIN ONCE WEEKLY | NOVICE & INTERMEDIATE
Master the art of turntablism and bring your mixes to life with our DJ Scratching lessons. From baby scratches to advanced techniques like chirps, flares, and crabs, we’ll help you develop precision, rhythm, and control on the decks. Students will learn to scratch over beats, blend transitions creatively, and build confidence performing live.
Lessons include:
- Core scratch techniques and hand coordination drills
- Understanding crossfader timing and vinyl movement
- Practicing over real beats to develop flow and musicality
- Creative routines and performance tips for DJs of all levels.
